Using Google + Ripples To Keep Track of Other Bloggers

Google+ Ripples is an interactive and visual graph of people who have shared your Google+ posts. It’s a very useful tool to make your posts go viral and help you connect with other bloggers as well, increasing your audience and page ranking. Although other social media sites provide this, it’s only available through third-party plugins whereas Google’s version is more user-friendly.

Remember that the ripple will only show you posts that were shared publicly and those who have shared them. You can interact with the circles directly just by zooming in on each member featured in the ripples. You will also be able to view the statistics about influencers (people who have shared the post to many people), the post’s statistics, and the languages of those who have shared the posts. Because of this, you can use Google + Ripples to get noticed by blog influencers in your niche.

Here’s how you can kick up your clout using Google + Ripples:

1. Using the statistics, find the largest influencer in your niche, then locate the posts that they have shared, and their original posters or authors (preferably those with a large following).

2. Connect with the original posters through social media sites. Build a strong relationship with them by sharing valuable interests related to your niche, then invite them to your Google + circles. Chances are, they’ll eventually share your posts that your industry influencer will notice and share.
